Stripe Disclosures

Nordkestrel Dining uses Stripe to process payments. Here's what that means for operators and diners.

Last updated: April 23, 2026

Who processes payments

Payments made on storefronts hosted by Nordkestrel are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe is a registered Money Services Business in Canada (FINTRAC) and a licensed money transmitter in multiple US jurisdictions.

Nordkestrel is not a money transmitter. We never take custody of diner payments. Funds move directly from diner to the restaurant's connected Stripe account.

How payouts work

Fees

Stripe's processing fees

Stripe charges standard processing fees per transaction, published at stripe.com/pricing. These fees are deducted by Stripe before payout. Nordkestrel does not set or modify Stripe's fees.

Nordkestrel's fees

Nordkestrel charges a flat monthly subscription. We do not take a percentage of order revenue. See the pricing page.

Agreements you accept

When a restaurant connects a Stripe account through Nordkestrel, the restaurant also enters into:

These agreements govern the relationship between the restaurant and Stripe directly.

Data shared with Stripe

Sanctions and prohibited businesses

Certain categories of business are not eligible for Stripe payment processing. Before connecting a Stripe account, review Stripe's list of restricted businesses. Restaurants that fall within restricted categories may have their Stripe accounts paused or terminated by Stripe.
